Vince cuts cashmere the American way — easy in the shoulder, built to be worn rather than admired from a distance. Wolford has set the standard for hosiery and shapewear out of Austria since 1950, and nothing else on the rail is measured against anything but it. 120% Lino works Italian linen so it breathes through every season, not just summer. Fisico constructs swimwear with the discipline of eveningwear. Andrés Sardá makes lingerie in Barcelona worth the name on the label. We don't carry a house because it sells — we carry it because we'd wear it ourselves.
The shop is open Monday to Friday 10 to 18 and Saturday 10 to 13, and you are welcome without an appointment. We know every house on our rail, how each one sizes, which pieces run close and which relax with wearing, and we will tell you honestly when something does not suit you. Seen, tried, and worn the way it's meant to be.
Pieces are reserved online and collected in person at the shop, where you can see and try them before you pay. We hold a reservation for seven days, and longer if you ask. Because you buy in store rather than at a distance, an exchange or refund follows our returns policy and your statutory rights on faults. Minor alterations — hems, waists, straps — are available in store for a small charge. We'd rather sell you one piece you keep for years than five you don't; buying fewer, better things is the only sustainability position this house has ever needed.
American, Austrian and Italian sizing don't always agree with each other, and we won't pretend they do. Come in and try things on — that's the whole point of a shop with people in it — or write to us naming the piece and house, and we'll talk you through how it fits before you reserve it.
